Description

The area between the more northerly experimental crop and the north edge of the main field was walked in 10m transects, with the aim of recovering artefacts of Med or earlier date. No finds were recovered, and indeed very few sherds even of post-Med date were observed. (1) See E9322 for earlier fieldwalking, E9374 for trial trenches and E8986 for geophysics.
