Description

The magnetometry evidence suggested that the majority of anomailes lay in the SE corner of the development. From these results it was decided that this area should be examined by watching brief … on an area covering approximately 60x50m. At a depth of c.1m below the initial ground level areas of iron panning were found, corresponding to the anomailes located during the geophysical survey. No features or artefacts of archaeological significance were met with. (1) See E9031 for geophysics.
