Description

Watching brief carried out during the excavation of foundation trenches at 27/29 Market Place and 1/9 Bridge Street. The site was visited when the foundation trenches had been excavated to the required depth of 0.8 - 0.95m. Nothing of any great archaeological significance was observed, post medieval activity have (sic) removed all earlier evidence. (1)
