Description

Topsoil was stripped from the entire area of the building c. 30 x 15m, footings for the building were dug to c. 1.5m deep. A pit approximately 2 sqm excavated to the NE. Topsoil and subsoil heaps inspected for artefacts. No archaeological features were recorded beneath the medieval ploughsoil. No artefacts were recovered. (1)
