Description

Watching brief during construction of sewage treatment works on the SE edge of the village of Tithby. Groundworks monitored in areas of topsoil stripping i.e. along the access track and in the area of the reed bed compound. No datable material was retrieved and no archaeological features were identified. No indication of ridge and furrow, it would appear the land had use other than arable. (1)
