Description

A watching brief during the undergrounding of overhead wires in Screverton. The route was approximately 870m long and ran along the road and grass verges. The trench was machine excavated, with a maximum width of 0.4m and an average depth of between 0.3 and 0.4m. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded or recovered. (1) Grid ref for W end of trench.
