Description

The proposed route of the bypass covers a distance of 4.03km, of this only 2.02km were suitable for fieldwalking. An area 50m in width on either side of the centre line of the proposed bypass route was walked along transects set at intervals of 10m. … There was a total absence of finds of an archaeological nature from the areas fieldwalked. (1) Grid ref for W end of road corridor. See E9240 for walkover survey.
