Description
The site was investigated using hand excavated trial trenches which were then manually back filled. The location of the trenches was determined by the results of the topographical survey. Trench 3 was located 40m to the N of Trench 2 and was 3m long. No artefacts were recovered and no features were observed in this trench. (1)
NB Plan in (1) is inadequate, NGR estimated, 40m N of Trench 2. Trenches located between trackway and cliff edge. Date in excavation Index was given as 1991. (2)
