Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on a replacement length of the Ranskill - Torworth water main for Anglian Water Ltd, inspecting 366m of trenching, averaging 0.4m wide and 1m deep. … The watching brief revealed very little of archaeological interest; this is likely to be because the trench was excavated through a modern road and any existing archaeology may have been destroyed by its construction. (1)
