Description

Ground works consisted of the excavation of two trenches, one 0.6 and the other 0.3m wide. Neither of the trenches produced any features or artefacts of archaeological interest (but did produce much modern brickwork and disturbance). No evidence to suggest the existence of any Civil War defences or waterfront structures was present. (1) See E9001, E9003 for further investigations on this site.
