Description

Several fields were ploughed at the request of TPAT so that fieldwalking could be conducted as part of the evaluation. Both cropmark enclosures and several E-W strips across the cropmark fields were walked at 10m intervals, with all medieval and earlier material collected and recorded individually. (1) See E9047 for fieldwalking to N, E9040 for geophysics and E9041,2,3 for excavations.
