Description

Two fields were ploughed so that fieldwalking could be conducted [investigating the brickwork plan cropmarks]. Two sample strips, 50m across were walked in both fields with walkers spaced at 10m intervals. No medieval or RB pottery was found. Both fields were walked on a winters day with periods of strong sunlight; such weather conditions make these potsherds more difficult to see. (1) See E9050 for fieldwalking nearby, E9046-8 for other fields walked.
