Description

The field was surveyed using a Ground Total Station. Spot heights were taken at 5m intervals over the development area and at wider intervals over the remainder of the field. The grass was overgrown to an extent which would have hindered the identification of subtle features. None of the surface features would seem to merit further investigation on their own account. (1) The present level nature of this field may be an artefact of past agricultural or ornamental uses of this piece of land. (2) See E9056 for geophysics and E198 for trial trenches.
