Description

Fieldwalking was undertaken over the entire of the proposed development area, initially with 10m transects. Subsequently part of the area was rewalked at 5m intervals. Finds were searched for and marked up to 1m each side of the centre line of each transect. Find spots were recorded in three dimensions using an EDM. (1) See E9058 for trial trenches, E9059 for geophysics.
