Description

The area was systematically walked at 50m transects with recovery points at every 50m, or 20m transects / recovery points. Artefacts dating to the medieval period or earlier were collected for analysis. A background of late post med pottery and ceramic building material was noted over the entire survey area [but otherwise ignored].
