Description

Ten or twelve years later (than digging in 1967, see E9077 and E9078), when a modern ditch on the N side of Old Trent Road, Beckingham was cleaned, [features] could be seen in the N side of the modern ditch where it adjoins [field number] O.S. 196b, about ten yards from the SE corner of O.S. 196b. (1) See E9078 for more clearance of this ditch.
