Description

Five areas were surveyed in detail by gradiometry. The palaeochannel has been clearly located and lies in the W of the survey area. In the NE of the survey area no anomalies of archaeological interest have been located, possibly due to thick deposits of alluvium. (1) Grid ref between areas D and E. See E9127 - E9131 for excavations.
