Description

During work undertaken by the contractors which did not require an archaeological presence, a c.3m high, 50m wide (E-W) sub circular 'rise' lying immediately to the W of the pylon's location and part of the low lying ground surrounding this was walked, E-W. The ground cover was stubble. The majority of the finds recovered lay on the N/E side of the rise. No finds were recovered from the low areas of the field. (1) See E9105 for watching brief.
