Description

The area of the modern field containing the cropmark enclosures by Wild Goose Cottage have been fieldwalked twice, once in 1988 / 89 at 10m intervals and again in 1989 / 90 at 5m intervals. Despite the doubled intensity of walking, only half as many sherds again were recovered on the second collection.
