Description

2m wide N-S trenches to the W of Trench 02, ... one at the W edge of the gravel island to investigate whether the feature had continued to the far edge of the island (Trench 04: 20x2m). The ditch was not recorded in trench 04. … an 8x2m E extension was [also] dug. (1) See E9127 to E9131 for other trenches and test pitting, E9081 for geophysics, E9082 for fieldwalking.
