Description

A 5x2m trench, aligned from W-E was excavated with a 5ft ditching bucket on the back actor of a JCB. The trench indicates approximately 2.3m of fine alluvial sediments over probably Pleistocene sand and gravel. (1) See E9127 - E9130 for trenches and test pits, E9081 for geophysics, E9082 for fieldwalking.
