Description

A resistivity survey was carried out in the S half of the field employing a Geoscan RM4 resistivity meter … covered an area of 100x80m, with readings taken at intervals of 1m. The processed plot shows shows clearly the zone of transition from gravel to alluvium … and ploughed out medieval ridge and furrow running approximately N-S. None of the anomalies may be related with confidence to any of the recorded linear cropmarks. (1) See E9132 for fieldwalking, E9134 for excavation, E9281 for watching brief. See L3030 for cropmarks.
