Description
The topsoiling in field 5877 revealed a scatter of stone, Roman pottery and tile. In order to more fully investigate the remains to be destroyed a c.0.05m spit was removed from an area c.1m wide and 32m long along the prospective line of the pipe (trench 01). (1)
