Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during water mains replacement in the area of the villages of Ranskill, Mattersey and Lound. . ... Area 4. A section of Ranskill Road between Mattersey and Ranskill. … although some sections consisted of open cut trenches, the majority of the main was replaced by thrust boring. No archaeological features were exposed. (1)
