An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during water mains replacement in the area of the villages of Ranskill, Mattersey and Lound. . ... Area 5. A short section on Folly Nook Lane to the N of Ranskill. … unfortunately, no archaeological monitoring was undertaken during pipe laying in this area due to a breakdown in communications.
