Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during water mains replacement in the area of the villages of Ranskill, Mattersey and Lound. . ... Area 6. A section of Baulk Lane to the W of Torworth village. …Although open cut trenching was used throughout this area, the narrowness of the trench made inspection difficult. Natural red and yellow sand deposits were exposed but no archaeological features were observed. (1)
