Description

A percentage of the proposed development area, totalling 7m2, was excavated by hand in the form of two trenches. Topsoil and subsoil was removed by hand to a depth at which archaeological remains or undisturbed natural ground was identified. No archaeological features were encountered in either of the two trenches opened. (1)
