Description

With great reluctance, the inspectorate agreed to the levelling of the fishponds of the medieval college of Sibthorpe, and the work was carried out by the farmer. Great quantities of white material were exposed, a sample of this was analysed by Dr. I. D. Sutton, of the University of Nottingham. (1)
