Description

The tower floor was manually cleaned to examine the distribution of graves cut into it. The affected area of the north aisle was approximately 3m square. It was manually cleaned to just above bedrock level. (1) See E9182 for non archaeological excavations on site, E9184 for watching brief to N of church.
