Description

The provision of drainage required an aperture drilling though the N wall foundation of the tower at its mid point. A plastic pipe was then to be inserted and led via a trench to the NW gate. A watching brief was maintained on the contractors excavation of the trench, which was 0.4m in breadth and 0.7m deep. (1) See E9182, E9183 for excavations within the church.
