Description

In early November 1993 a number of drainage trenches were hand dug by workmen renovating the so-called Manor House at Scrooby. The trenches, 25-30cm wide and c.60cm deep, led from rainwater pipes on the existing building to a low, boggy area to the N where a former watercourse can be discerned. (1)
