Description

During monitoring of Upper Row, a resident of a mid C20 house at the S end of the lane invited the author to examine exposed soil in the rear garden. This plot lay adjacent to a pasture field with slight earthworks and the visit provided an opportunity to check for pottery fragments or other signs of occupation.
