Description

As part of a housing development it was proposed that a farmhouse and farm buildings be demolished … an archaeological assessment and evaluation should be undertaken … it was decided to leave the house walls standing at about 1m high and when demolition was completed to carry out limited archaeological excavation … a small trench was excavated adjacent to the E wall. (1)
