Description

While laying a new water pipe through the grounds of Clumber Park, a series of walls and a water chamber were revealed. The site was visited … The trench for the water pipe ran approximately N - S and measured 57m long by between 0.5 and 0.6m wide. The depth varied between 0.8 and 1m. A measured sketch was made of the W section. (1) Grid ref for N end of pipe trench.
