Description

Two trenches were stripped of topsoil by a JCB to inspect the subsoil for cut features and foundations in the location given (for a house) on the 1735 map. The trenches were each 1.3m wide, the N-S 55m long and the E-W 30m long. No foundations or features were observed. (1) See E9216 for nearby geophysics, E9230 for historical report.
