Description

Two areas were observed during topsoil stripping, in both the opportunity was taken to excavate and record archaeological features exposed. Area 01, c. 5 x 10m immediately to the E of the vicarage was machine stripped to prepare the ground for a new swimming pool. Area 02, c. 15 x 30m to the SE of the vicarage was machine stripped to prepare the ground for construction of a new tennis court. (1) Grid reference centred on area 02.
