Description

Overburden stripping of phase 3 prior to, and during sand and gravel extraction. The overburden was removed by a combination of box graders, hymacs and dump-trucks. Inspection of the machine stripped surface at 10m intervals. No finds were recovered by the contractors or handed to the quarry manager. (1)
