Description

The watching brief was undertaken to make an accuarate descriptive and photographic record of the masonry dam at Snake Pond prior to the commencement of any works. To identify, record and photograph all features and artefacts of antiquity encountered during excavation. To be in attendance during the dismantling of and excavation through the masonry dam and to record the nature of its construction. (1)
