Description

Area of 0.96ha was divided into 20m squares and readings taken at 1m intervals using a resistivity meter. … neither of the two cropmark features is visible in the geophysical survey. H and I remained the only likely contenders for features of archaeological origin, but neither of these penetrated the subsoil within trench 01. (1) See E9316 for excavation.
