Description
Site visits were made by qualified archaeological staff to monitor the removal of earth, during the excavation of the removal of fuel tanks, footings for the proposed dwellings, services and roadways. In practice, this involved the observation of soil removal by a JCB excavator. Monitoring of the groundworks for the construction of the proposed buildings, their services and road way did not result in the disturbance of any archaeological remains. (1)
