Description

Fieldwork, all excavation that could be carried out without damage to the experimental barley crop in the main field (01 - 05). Remaining excavation (06 - 13) following the removal of the barley. Ditches showed quite clearly without cleaning, after machine stripping. (1) Grid ref centred. See E9322 for unsystematic field walking nearby, E9375 for trench 14 to west, E8986 for geophysics, E8987 for systematic fieldwalking.
