Description

The watching brief was maintained as a series of intermittent visits during groundwork's [sic] associated with the stripping of the topsoil by mechanical excavator within the identified quarry extension area. … The W side of the area had already been stripped prior to archaeological monitoring on health and safety grounds. … No features and / or finds of archaeological interest were encountered. (1)
