Description

Watching brief on two machine dug test pits. The pits were dug in order to remove sand from the area for testing. Both pits were approximately 15 - 20m long x 5m wide. No evidence for archaeological deposits were visible in this trench. (1) See E9397 for test pit 01 to the N, E9399 for geophys.
