Description

In order to obtain information about the date of the ancient field systems [apparent on AP's], excavations were carried out at weekends in the autumn of 1976 at four sites in Nottinghamshire. A cutting (20.5m x 1.60m) was laid out to cut across the west side of a sub-rectangular double ditched enclosure. (1)
