Description

Excavations within the scheduled area of the walled garden, Cockpit Hill, prior to receiving planning permission for housing development. Two trenches; one in the area of the proposed bundalow (01), the other where the septic tank would be located (02). No significant results. (1) Grid ref centred on Trench 2. See M2051 for hillfort.
