Description

An area of 3ha was scanned by fluxgate gradiometry and followed by 1ha of detailed survey conducted in two areas. Numerous isolated ferrous responses have been identified. These are believed to reflect modern ferrous debris in the topsoil. Few anomalies of archaeological potential were noted. (1) See E9409 for fieldwalking in this area, E9433 for watching brief.
