Description

Detailed geophysical (fluxgate gradiometer) survey, covering approximately 6.1ha, was carried out in two areas (F and G) of a proposed quarry extension E of Finningley. No anomalies of probable archaeological origin were identified. (1) Grid reference centred on area G, area F is at SK 4687 3984. Results apply to both areas. See E9413 for trial trenches, E9414 for fieldwalking.
