Description

An area of 0.8ha was surveyed. This was located to investigate the enclosure and possible associated ditches, visible on aerial photographs. An FM18 fluxgate gradiometer was used to take readings at 1m intervals within each grid. (1) See E9427 for area excavation, E9429 for fieldwalking, E9289 for trial trenching.
