Description

Archaeological monitoring was maintained by TPAU during topsoil stripping over a 12.1ha (10.5ha stripped to archaeological specification) area situated immediately E of the River Idle. A programme of rapid survey and recording, carried out in conjunction with the watching brief. (1) Grid ref centred. See E9436 for fieldwalking, E9437 for trial trenches, E9438 for geophysical survey.
