Description

Residential development consisting of 12 properties and a new access off Main Street, Oxton. The monitoring of topsoil stripping for a new access road and building plots 1-5 were monitored. Very little material of archaeological significance was exposed by the groundworks and no deposits or artefacts of medieval date were recovered during the brief. In view of this limited impact, plots 6 - 12 were not monitored. (1)
